Our Pilates Barre Program is using a combination of postures inspired by Ballet as well as Pilates principles and exercise repertoire.
The Barre is used as a prop to balance while doing exercises that focus on isometric strength training (holding your body still while you contract a specific set of muscles), combined with high repetitions of small range-of-motion movements.
We also incorporate light handheld weights to tone the upper body without bulk, stretch bands and other props to add challenge for the core.
The music tempo in this class, gives the participant the opportunity to increase the cardio workout in a fun and uplifting way.
